Signed Papers

Today is the day...the first set of signed papers! Please go over the packet with your child and make any corrections that you wish for extra practice. Then, return all papers in the signed envelope by Wednesday.

Kennedy Space Center

Pirate Field Trips!

I have booked two field trips for our upcoming novel study. The first is to the SC State Museum to see the "Pirates, Privateers, and Buccaneers" exhibit. This unit-opening trip will be on Friday, September 17. Our second trip will be to the Old Exchange Building and Provost Dungeon for a Pirate Scavenger Hunt in downtown Charleston. This will be the culminating activity for our unit and will take place on Friday, October 22.
Permission forms are being sent home today. Students will earn a gumball for each form that is signed and returned TOMORROW. They have the option of earning a third gumball if they bring payment for both trips tomorrow, as well! You may write one check for both.

Thank you for those that came to last night's Open House! We had twelve of our nineteen families represented!
